Want an easy, NO MESS craft to do with your kids this 4th of July?? These necklaces are simple to make and fun to wear. My kids had a blast making them and can’t wait to wear them today with their 4th of July shirts!
red, white and blue card stock
ribbon (red or blue)
red, white and blue beads
red, white and blue straws
I cut stars out of the paper and gave the kids 6 each, then I cut the straws and ribbon (cut extra long) and divided the materials so everyone had their own supplies and let them get to threading. Former teacher tip: tape one end down so when they thread the beads and straws on they don’t push them off the other end. I cut the ribbon extra long so if the end gets a bit frayed, you can cut off some to make it easier. Everyone could mostly do this on their own, Hannah needed help with a few of the beads though. They each had fun making their own patterns.
This is a great small motor skills activity as well!
Cute! Happy Fourth everyone!
