Do you have a daughter?? Is she 7?? Well then this post should sound familiar to you.
My daughter is an emotional wreck. My husband thinks she’s bipolar but I have assured him she is not…she’s just suffering from a case of “girl”. Everything is an issue and a problem. She has a trillion excuses for everything she can or cannot do.
This post is about getting her ready in the morning for school. I TRY to allow her the freedom of choice by letting her pick out her own clothes at night. I try to make “friendly suggestions” on what I think is a good idea, but she doesn’t always listen. Often by the morning she has changed her mind anyways and what she picked the night before CANNOT be and she HAS to change it NOW.
Without further ado…may I present Abigail’s version of “The Pants of Our Lives”…
Top Ten Tuesday: Ten reasons my daughter CANNOT wear those pants!
1. They are itchy.
2. They are not long enough.
3. They have stripes.
4. They have buttons (this one I agree with)
5. They feel weird.
6. They are NOT pink.
7. OH NO! They ARE pink!!!!!
8. They have a seam.
9. They are not fancy enough.
10. BLAH! DIDN’T YOU KNOW I HATE PANTS, MOM???
Bloody hell!!! Do you have these battles at home??? Please share and so we all may commiserate in one another’s misery.
