In need some of variety at the gym? Getting on the elliptical is lately one of my favorite machine workouts. It’s easier on my tired knees but I still get in a pretty great calorie burn- but staying on it normally can be quite boring so I have found three elliptical workouts for you to do. One is perfect for beginners, one is focusing on your backside and one is a whole hour.
This beginning workout is 35 minutes long and will vary your speed and resistance. The whole thing is done on a 20% incline.
This booty workout is also 35 minutes long and will vary your incline and resistance. Every time you switch the incline, go the opposite direction so you get a great workout for all of your leg/glute muscles.
This workout is an hour long and is more of an interval workout, varying your incline up and down. This will get you a serious calorie burn, as long as you keep your speed up!
I haven’t done the eliptical but these workouts look great. My favorite is recumbent bike and tread mill but I may change things up and try the eliptical. ๐
Those are great! The bike hurts my knees, which is why I stick to the elliptical- seems to be easier on them ๐ I hope you like them if you try them out!
