As I was browsing one of my new favorite blogs, The Sticky Mom, the other day, she had linked up for an “Old School Blogging” link up and it seemed so fun I just had to join! Elaine and Jennifer are hosting this fun link up and I look forward to browsing their blogs as well.
A. Attached or Single? I’m happily attached to the best guy around. Mr. Pea and I have been together for going on 13 years. We’ve been through a lot together and even though he knows how to make me crazy, he’s still my best friend in the whole wide world! (awwwww…)
We’re starting to look old, I think 😉
B. Best Friend? I have lots of close friend that I definitely consider “besties” but if I had to pink one I’d have to pick my hubby.
C. Cake or pie? Pie for sure! I love to make my own apple and pumpkin pies in the fall. Yum! I do love cake though too….
D. Day of Choice? Ummm…one of the side effects of being a stay at home mama is the days all sort of begin to feel like one. My hubby doesn’thave weekends off either so it’s not like that I my favorite time either. If I had to pick a day, I’d say Tuesday. On Tuesdays, all my kiddies will be in school for a few hours and it’s going to be so nice to have that little bit of time all to myself!
E. Essential item? Probably my phone…it holds all my day-t0-day info and I just can’t live without it!
F. Favorite color? Blue, all shades. My favorite shade is a robin’s egg blue. I would like to take a bath in that color.
G. Gummy bears or worms? Gummy worms for sure, even though I try to avoid that kind of stuff in my old age- seeing as how my metabolism isn’t want it used to be :/
H. Hometown? Abington, MA- go Green Wave! (yes, our mascot was grass)
I. Favorite Indulgence? Chips. More specifically ruffles cheddar and sour cream ones. Drool.
J. January or July? January. I enjoy summer but July here is like an oven and it’s just not pleasant. Plus, I’ve always been a winter/fall kinds gal.
K. Kids? Three! Obviously 😉 Abby is 7, Jacob is 5 and Hannah is 3.
L. Life isn’t complete without? My family, for sure. Also watching Days of Our Lives. I just love that show. I know it’s ridiculous, but I’ve been watching it since I was 7! And running, even though sometimes I play the lazy card and don’t feel like it, I truly need that in my life.
M. Marriage Date? March 18
N. Number of brothers and sisters? One of each, both of them living in MA.
O. Oranges or apples? Oranges, but the small kind.
P. Phobias? Bugs, yuck! I’m also not a fan of heights in my old age. They really didn’t used to bother me, but for some reason now they do.
Q. Quotes? My favorite quote in high school was “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” and I still like it 🙂 It’s even fitting in my grown up life.
R. Reasons to smile? My kids and hubby, memories of my mama, the beach, my family and that fleeting moment of alone time I get. So rare, yet so loved.
S. Season of choice? Fall. Even though I currently live in the desert and we don’t really have fall, I still have vivid memories of the leaves changing, the air becoming more crisp and beginning to wear cute boots and a matching scarf.
U. Unknown fact about me? I was a great roller skater in my younger days. Not so much now though… I also was a vegetarian for years!
V. Vegetable? I’m a lover of all veggies, honestly. There isn’t one I don’t like!
W. Worst Habit? Forgetting things I don’t write down. I MUST write everything down!
X. X-ray or ultrasound? Umm, this is a strange one! I hope neither! lol
Y. Your favorite food? Mashed potatoes with butter and gravy. Yum.
Z. Zodiac Sign? Scorpio
