Summertime is also the LAST time you want to be sick, so boosting your immune system during this time of year is so important. Getting some extra vitamin C doesn’t have to mean taking a pill- you can get some in a delicious way with these frosty and tart raspberry lemonade vitamin C popsicles made with Raspberry Emergen-C. They are a delicious way to get extra vitamins and stay cool at the same time!
Everyone loves a good popsicle, so why not make your pops a little healthier and better for you? These raspberry lemonade popsicles are not only a sweet treat but are packed with vitamin C, antioxidants, and electrolytes. How? Because of my secret ingredient: Raspberry Emergen-C!
Each little pack of Emergen-C is full of 7 B vitamins for energy and promoting a healthy metabolism, antioxidants, which keep your cells healthy, and electrolytes, which are great for extra hydration and support energy production and use. One pack also has 1,000 mg 0f Vitamin C.
I love how I can grab these large packs of Emergen-C in a variety of flavors, in my health and beauty section at my local Walmart. I like the big boxes of 30 packs so I can plenty for recipes like this, and also just to have on hand for when someone does get sick. Having some of these packs at home really helps to keep my immune system boosted so I can continue on with the activities that make me the most happy, like spending time outside with my family.
Whether it’s swimming laps in the pool, taking a quick run, or riding bikes as a family, we all want to be outside together. I love how these Emergen-C packs help to keep me feeling my best every day and help me to continue to do the things we love the most.
To make these popsicles it couldn’t be any easier. You only need three ingredients: raspberry lemonade, fresh or frozen raspberries and Raspberry Emergen-C. I only have a four section popsicle mold so to make four pops, I used about 2 cups of Raspberry Lemonade and combined it with two packs of Emergen-C, being sure to stir it up completely so it dissolves in the lemonade.
For added flavor, throw in some raspberries. You can use fresh or frozen. I used frozen since that’s what I had on hand, so I just smashed them up a little so they are smaller.
- 2 cups raspberry lemonade
- ½ cup frozen or fresh raspberries, smashed
- 2 packets of raspberry flavored Emergen-C
- Combine the Emergen-C and raspberry lemonade until well mixed. Pour into your popsicles and toss in some raspberries. Freeze till ready to eat!
I love how simple these popsicles are to make and how they not only TASTE great but are great for you! They are perfect for summer time or really anytime you are feeling like you could use a little pick me up immune boost. They also make great edition to any healthy and active lifestyle.
