Boo! If your kids love funny and goolish treats to eat then they will love these adorable Mummy Pizzas! These little hand held treats are like a compact meal in cute mummy form that your kids will go gaga for. They re super easy to make and absolutely perfect for a Halloween party or to eat before your kids head out trick or treating!
Made with just a few ingredients, they are very easy to whip up and eat as well. Everyone has seen the hot dog mummies, and these are a take on those, but with a pizza filling instead! They can be filled simply with just sauce and cheese or made fancy with any ingredients you wish.
To make 4 pizza mummies, you will need:
one container of crescent dough
non stick spray
pizza sauce (2 T for each mummy)
mozzarella cheese (2 T for each mummy)
olive slices (2 for each mummy)
and any other filling you want
Roll out your crescent dough and press two triangles into one rectangle, making a total of 4 rectangles from one tube. Seal the seam together with your fingers.
Using the back of a knife, gently press and make two lines down the middle (not cutting through), dividing the rectangle into thirds. Cut through slices on either end to make “fringe”, if you will, with the dough.
Place the sauce and the cheese in the middle non-cut section, careful not to add too much sauce or else it will seep out the sides. If you add any toppings, be sure to cut them small and add a little more cheese to the top of them to help seal it to the dough as it bakes.
Place the two olive slices for the eyes a little way down from the top.
Fold down the top two pieces of dough and fold up the bottom two pieces so seal in all of the ingredients, and then begin criss crossing the remaining pieces any way you wish, crossing them over one another to close up the pizza section.
Once all of the pieces are criss crossed, you are ready to bake! Bake in an oven set to 350 degrees for between 11-12 minutes, being sure to allow to cool before you eat them.
Once they are all baked, they are perfectly spooky treats that your kids would love! I plan on making some for my kids before we head out for trick to treating and I know they will eat them right up!

Love it! Lots of great ideas for Halloween food, but hard to find recipes for savory (vs. sweet) foods. I enjoy making a special meal on Halloween eve.
