BOO! Looking for a yummy Halloween treat that’s not too sweet?? This Monster Mash Snack Mix is a smorgasbord of spooky treats that are tossed together to make a very simple, but very kid-pleasing Monster Mash Mix! My son’s birthday is Nov 1st, the day after Halloween and I wanted to create a delicious treat for him to share with his class that wasn’t too sugary (not allowed anyways) and that was also peanut-free. The fun part about this mix is you can really put whatever you want in it! It’s super versatile.
Here’s what I included:
popcorn
corn Chex
pumpkin-shaped pretzels (I found them at Target!)
mini halloween orange & black chocolate chips
mini marshmallows
candy corn
I included more popcorn and Chex and only a little of the sweet stuff. You can serve this in these cute Halloween cupcake liners or in individual bags. It’s a sweet and spooky treat that’s perfect for Halloween!
They did the mash….the monster mash….
Those look delicious! I love the sweet and savory combo!
Thank you! They are obviously ridiculously easy to make haha! but the kids love them!
I love your site, and this recipe. I am doing a last minute guest post at HighDesertBlogging.com entitled Last Minute Halloween Treats, and I was wondering if I can add your photo and recipe to the round up?
Thanks for stopping by Patti! You can definitely link to my post, thank you so much!
