Summer time Pomegranate Basil Iced Tea

A simple and refreshing summer iced tea recipe using Bigelow tea!
  • 8 bags Pomegranate Pizzazz tea bags
  • 4 cups water
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup fresh basil (more for garnish)
  • 1½ cup strawberries (more for garnish)
  1. In a sauce pan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. One hot, add in your sugar and stir to dissolve.
  2. Remove water from heat and add in tea bags, basil and cut strawberries and let steep together for 5 minutes.
  3. After they are finished steeping, strain berries and basil and remove tea bags and pour tea into a pitcher and place in fridge to cool. Serve over ice and garnish with a basil leaf and a piece of strawberry.
