My kids love arts and crafts time! I love when a craft doesn’t get too messy (even though that’s fun too-sometimes!). This pretty tree is the perfect compromise. All’s you need is paint, paper, a paint brush and q-tips!
Cover your workspace with newspaper and set out the papers for your kids. I painted the tree trunks, just because we were a bit short on time, but you could let your little ones do that if they wish!
Draw a circle around the top of the tree as a “guide” for your kids to where they should put the dots.
Set out the pretty fall colors, they only need a speck of each color. Their painting tool will be a q-tip!
Give the kids a quick demo, showing them how to make the small dots: “dot dot not a lot”- works for glue and paint!
Let them have at it! These trees are simple and so very pretty! It’s fun to see how different they make them. I hope your kids enjoy these as much as mine did!
