These DIY Minecraft creeper t-shirts were, by far, the best craft I did for the party! They were so much fun and easy to make. I made one for everyone in the family! The best part, is the kids can continue to wear them after the party is over, and while I’ll probably not wear mine to target or anything, I can certainly wear it to bed.
Here’s what you’ll need to make these creeper shirts:
green t-shirts (I got mine at the local craft store for $3 each)
black fabric paint or marker
foam brush (if you use paint)
Print out the Minecraft creeper template and gather your supplies, You may want to wash your shirts first, just to eliminate any wrinkles.
Cut out the black parts so you are left with the shape of the creeper face. Try and keep the lines straight.
Place the template over the shirt and trace the shape with you paint. I got fabric paint, but a fabric marker would work just as well. I outlined the face first and let it dry.
If you are making multiple shirts, try and not get too much paint on the paper or else if may get onto your next shirt. If you get some one it (like I did) then let it dry on a paper towel a bit before you do the next shirt.
My paint had a slim tip but to make filling in the shape faster, I poured some in a bowl and painted it on with a 1 in. fabric brush. Then let it dry and you are done!
Each of these shirts took around 10 minutes total to make. They were a HUGE hit! They would also make a nice party favor, if you could get the shirts cheap enough.
