Do you love cheese? Of course you do, because seriously, who doesn’t?? Anytime I am at a party, I always find myself hanging out by the cheese ball, since they are so delicious and go great with my wine. We were having friends over recently and I wanted to recreate that feeling by making my own cheese ball and was surprised at how simple it was! I honestly thought the’d be more challenging to make, but they aren’t! To make this cheese ball, I combined some of my husband and I’s favorite flavors and create this Cranberry Gorgonzola Cheese Ball- and was NOT disappointed!
Like I said, this cheese ball is ridiculously easy to make. So easy in fact, you may find yourself wanting to make one for dinner-no, not as an app, but as the main course (enter heart eyes emoji here). Pretty much you just take some softened cream cheese, whatever additional ingredients you wish, mold into a ball, and that’s all!
- 2 packages of softened cream cheese
- 1 c grated parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 stalks of green onion, diced
- ⅓ c gorgonzola cheese
- ⅓ c dried cranberries
- 1 t pepper
- 1 t basil
- 1 t oregano
- ½ t salt
- Combine all ingredients together and form into a ball.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
- Serve with crackers or chips.
So easy, right? My husband just loved this one and is already requesting we make another one soon! I am entertaining this Thanksgiving too and know that this recipe will be featured for snacking purposes before the big meal.
