Did you grow up LOVING Barbie as much as I did?? I had so many dolls and accessories it wasn’t even funny! My all time favorite Barbie was Peaches and Cream Barbie:
Oh she’s so pretty! I still love her 🙂
I used to play for hours, day in and day out. My best friend had the Barbie Dream house, and when I went to her house we loved playing with our dolls in all the rooms, it made playing with them so much more fun!
The Barbie dream house has adapted and changed over the years, getting more and more glamorous. This past year, Barbie was traveling the country looking for a potential new place to live, other than her hometown of Malibu. After much debate, Barbie had decided that Malibu was where her heart is and decided to stay, with a newly remodeled beach front house (of course)!
The new 2013 Barbie Dream House comes with:
• Two Working Pull-String Elevators
• Six Deluxe Rooms
• Lights and Sounds Throughout the House
• Walk-In Closet
• Pink “Stainless Steel” Appliances
• Canopy Bed — Pulls Out to Reveal a Trundle Bed
• Television that “Flips” Channels
• Working Doorbell
• Balcony for Sunny Malibu Days
• 3-½+ Feet Tall
• 50+ Pieces
This Dream House is SO much fun! My girls have been having a blast playing with it!
When I was putting it together, my girls wouldn’t even let me move it into their room before they wanted to have at it! I love how there are so many rooms and neat little parts. The furniture it comes with is absolutely adorable! My girls love dogs too so they were over the moon to see it also came with a cute little yellow puppy, dog bed and bone. They have been having fun making the dolls go up and down the elevator, setting the table for different meals, and making the dolls sit back and “watch tv”. The house comes with lots of fun, little accessories for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. One of the details I like best is the “locking system” that the toys use to stand up in place. All around the house are these scroll designs where the bottom of the cups, plates, vase and even the milk, will “lock” into so they stand up in place! It’s such a neat feature! They love all the little details and rooms the Barbies can explore. I just love seeing their eyes light up with imagination when they are playing with it.
Here’s Barbie is having a snooze with her doggies watching and a close up of the kitchen with the luxe pink stainless steel appliances and the stove all lit up!
My girls REALLY love the two elevators, one being for the Barbies and the other shuttle her clothes between the walk-in closet and the bathroom for quick pre-dinner wardrobe changes. The house also expands in the center, to reveal even more play space!
My girls are aged 7 and 3 and they both are enjoying it in different ways. I know it will grow with them too, which is an added bonus.
Barbie’s brand new 2013 Dream house is now available at retailers nationwide, including Wal-Mart, for every girl who has always wanted a Dream house of her own. It retails for $184.99 MSRP.

Please note: The Barbie Dream House can be a bit complicated to put together on your own, thankfully Barbie has given us a wonderful video tutorial! Check that out here: (trust me, you’ll need it!)

WOW! Now thats a doll house! It makes me wish that my daughter was into barbies, because this looks like a blast!
Yes it’s pretty awesome! Thanks for reading!
The Barbie Dream House was my favorite as a little girl though I don’t remember it being THAT big. Love it!
Things like this is what’s making me super excited to have a little girl in ~3 weeks!
Thanks! No, mine was never that big either! I guess now-a-days bigger is better 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by!
Wow! Awesome review piece. Your girls sure looked like they had fun.
Thanks so much! It’s an awesome toy- my girls are obsessed with it!
Wow — this house has come a long way! I had a pretty lavish Barbie house as a child, but this blows that one out of the water!
Coming to you from Bloggy Moms,
Alia
Right? It totally has! My Barbie house was MUCH smaller, haha! My girls are loving it though 🙂
I think this doll house is a rip off. It’s made very flimsy and definitely does snot met my expectations. I can certainly think of better ways to spend almost $200. Mattel this is a big fail
This house is worth nearly $1000 now 😂😂😂
Oh wow! LOL! I should have saved it, now that my girls are past that stage I sold it haha
