Who wouldn’t want to burn approximately 500 calories in a single workout? I sure do! This interval-incline treadmill workout is sure to get you sweating some serious sweat in no time.
This workout has you running on four different incline at different speeds. The nice thing is it’s a mix of running and brisk walking so it’s good for all fitness levels. By rotating through different speeds and inclines, your heart rate will race, burning you approximately 100 calories every 10 minute cycle. So lace up, get your tunes ready and don’t forget to warm up and cool down!
After a warm up, begin on a 4 and at a 5% incline, briskly walking for 5 minutes. Pump it up for the next 3 minutes by running on a 6 at 2% incline and then at a 7 for 1 minute. Finish strong on a 10% incline walking at 3 mph for 1 more minute. Repeat this cycle for a total of 5 rounds and finish with a few minute cool down. Then reward yourself because you burned about 500 calories! Woot!
