STRESS. It’s like a mothers middle name. School, sports, housework, regular work, kids fighting, not enough time in the day- you name it, and it can cause a mom some serious stress. Not all of this stress is a bad thing though, sometimes this stress can be for a fun reason like planning a fun vacation, remodeling your house, or party planning. No matter what the reason, reducing your stress needs to be a top priority. There are many ways to reduce stress. Here are my favorite ways to destress so I can relax!
Sneaking in a quick workout is my number one way to reduce my stress. Not only does it help to clear my mind but it helps to release some much needed endorphins to help boost my mood. Even a quick 15 minute workout can be just want you need to help destress your life right away. Need some ideas for a fast workout to do at home? 2. Take some time for me
Besides working out, my next best remedy for de-stressing is making sure I take some time for ME everyday. Whenever it’s reading a book, baking, working on a craft, or even just playing Candy Crush- I like to be sure I take a few minutes each day, away from the kids (even if that means just going in my own bedroom!) and doing something for me. These few minutes of peace and quiet help me to regroup and get ready to be able to cross more items off of my to-do list.
3. Listen to my music
It’s no secret that listening to your favorite music can be a great way to reduce your stress levels. Hearing the kids all day fighting, and arguing and being noisy can send any mama straight to crazy town! When I have lots to do and can feel myself starting to get super stressed, I like to turn on my favorite music and listen while I work. Just hearing my songs can help lift my mood and makes getting through my stressful moments easier.
4. Have some tea
I love tea. It always seems to calm me. There is something about that warm cup that just makes my heart happy. If you are feeling stressed out to the max, try making yourself a nice warm cup of tea. Either black tea, chai tea or herbal tea- they all have their benefits and help relax you in no time!
5. Get some help from RESCUE
