Happy Easter everyone! I hope your day was filled with family, fun and friends. We celebrated at home since my husband had to work. The kids had fun with their baskets and all of the Easter eggs that the bunny left in the yard for them. Now that Easter is over and everyones bellies are full of jelly beans and chocolate, we are left with the age old question of what to do with all of those remaining plastic eggs?! I do save some for next years celebration, but it’s fun to repurpose some as well. I’ve got a few craft ideas I am planning for this week, but I wanted to get together a collection of more ideas, so here are 14 fun uses for plastics eggs that are simple, fun and a great way to recycle too!
From crafts, to plants to learning activities, the possibilities are truly endless when it comes to turning all of the plastic easter eggs into something special. Here are some ideas to get you started:
Plastic Easter egg caterpillars from Child Central Station
Make egg instruments from Red Ted Art
If learning’s your thing, check out these fun reading & math activities I shared last year.
