Ever since my big marathon, I have been on a mission to lose a few pounds before summer starts. Most days I try and head to the gym but if it’s the weekend or the kids are sick and I can’t get over there I try and do something at home. Sometimes I only have a little time to spare and I like to do one of these quick but effective workouts. One of my favorites is a 100 countdown workout. It’s fun, fast and not too hard but it does get you moving, grooving and breaking a mini sweat. Here’s what I do for my 100 countdown workout:
Not too bad, huh? It takes less than 20 minutes to do and it burns enough calories that I feel good if I had no other way of working out.
That looks like a pretty serious workout actually. When I’m short on time, I like the 7 minute workout published in the NYT magazine. They have put out 2 versions now, and the second uses weights, which is good for me because I am trying to keep my bone density up. I love this, though. So easy… a great workout for vacation!
That sounds like a good one, I’ll have to look that up 🙂 Thanks!
My favorite go-to “I have no time to workout” workout: burpees!! Full body & they get your heart going.
ugggg, I hate burpees! But they are a great workout, maybe that’s why I hate them LOL!
